  Who Am I?

             Fitness is my Passion

Hi, my name is Julia Bird, people call me JBird for short.  I am a Nurse Full-time and CrossFit L1 trainer in my spare time.  I am currently getting certified to be a Personal Trainer as well as receive an extra certification in nutrition.   If I am not at home or work you can find me at the gym.  As much as I love being a nurse, three years ago when I stumbled upon CrossFit, not only did it change my life both physically and mentally, but I found a new passion; fitness. My whole life I have been overweight and I have tried so many fad diets, magic fat loss pills, went through some periods of eating disorders, and still was overweight.  Nothing I did seemed to work, and I was still unhappy with myself.  Since starting my weightloss journey I have lost 65lbs. There have been a lot of life obstacles thrown my way, a lot of emotional waves to get past, and a lot of hard work, but each part was a crucial piece of my journey.  It sounds cliché, but yes fitness is a journey. Weight-loss is not done overnight, and it can’t be fixed with magic pills or crash diets.  Yes, it takes exercise, and yes it takes nutrition, but it goes deeper than that.  It takes you believing in yourself enough to want to lose weight, it takes surrounding yourself with a support system to help keep you motivated, it takes doing uncomfortable things every day so you grow as a person, and it takes enough strength just to climb out of bed on those days when life hits you especially hard.  The journey itself is not an easy task, and yes it can seem daunting, but we have two options: take the journey or continue the path you’re on currently and be unhappy with your life and yourself…..the first option sounds best to me.


I started this virtual fitness program because I want to help people with their own fitness journeys.  I am not going to try and sell quick gimmicks or tell you I have a secret formula for success.  I am going to personally work with you as an individual and find something that sparks your interest, help you with a nutrition guideline that is simple to understand and show you how to still enjoy your favorite foods, and help you stay motivated and on track so you can go on and crush your goals.


I am still on my fitness journey, and am pushing myself out of my comfort zone by putting all I have out in the world.   Fitness has been a huge impact on my life and I can honestly say has made me a happier person inside and out.  Now I want to show you how to feel this way, because really there is no better feeling than loving yourself!  It is time to get stronger, healthier, and happier.  Let's get started on your journey today!

Lose weight, get fit, gain strength, all from the comfort of your own home.  Whether you are at home with no equipment or at a gym with weights; I got you covered.  Choices include a 3 day workout plan or a 5 day workout plan.  All plans are tailored towards your fitness goals and fitness needs.  Each individual will receive weekly check-ins with me personally to keep you accountable as well as exercise demos to establish safe body mechanics.

Need help staying on track with your nutrition?  Do calculating Macros scare you?  Never know how many calories to eat on a rest day?  Problem Solved!!  All I need from you is a few simple measurements and I can set you up for whatever fitness goals you may have and make it simple to understand.
